Quebec Winter Carnival has developed into one of the world's largest winter festivals. This year it will be held from January 30 to February 15, 2004.
During the Quebec Winter Carnival there are many activities and displays to entertain participants. Some activities this year will include night parades with floats, music, and a snow sculpting competition by artists from around the world.
Visitors planning to stopover in Quebec City for this years' festival are encouraged to reserve accommodations as early as possible. During the Winter Carnival Quebec City receives many tourists and last minute accommodations are hard to find.
