Lake Louise

Lake Louise is a town located in Banff National Park. It is named in honour of Princess Louise Caroline Alberta, fourth daughter of Queen Victoria. The lake that the town gets it name from is a stunning, powder blue lake fed directly by Victoria Glacier. At Lake Louise you will also find Chateau Lake Louise. Chateau lake Louise is a deluxe resort hotel built in the 1800.

Although the majority of travelers visit Lake Louise during the summer, during the winter months downhill skiing attracts many outdoor enthusiasts. Lake Louise ski area is spectacular. It has wonderful views and more than 3,000 acres of skiable terrain spread over several mountain.
