Whistler Village is located in the mountains of British Columbia. It is a European styled village situated 1 ½ hours drive north of the city of Vancouver, at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.
Whistler is a resort village and there are many activities for visitors to do. Visitors will be entertained by festivals that take place throughout the year as well, by the many boutiques, bistros and patios. Whistler also features distinctive restaurants, cafes, lounges, and nightclubs.
Whistler village is pedestrian only. Visitors can stroll through its streets and enjoy specialty stores, boutiques, and art galleries without the hassle of traffic and parking.
There are peak travel periods for tourism in Whistler. Visitors are recommended to make accommodation reservations as early as possible during the ski season and on national and international holidays.
